I have a 2006 F-150 Supercab Lariat with the 5.4L. First, let me say that I had read many rave reviews of Travis' www.kcautosoaund.com on www.F150online.com prior to my purchase. Many experienced members there said the CA680 is the optimal product for the F-150, and that KCautosound is the ideal place to find the right price with service that makes the install easy. That said, I ordered the CA680 with prewire, and the PATS bypass module. They shipped it the same day I placed the order. After my personal product purchase/install, I must say the guys on F150online.com were right on the money. Sure, I could have found it cheaper, but he made it so very simple to install. He was right there for me on a few questions I had via telephone (on a weekend I might add), and I am very happy I chose kcautosound. The install and programming with his excellent prewire and color illustrated instruction set went very smoothly. He saved me time and money. I feel great about getting top notch service, a great alarm system, and the personal satisfaction that I did it by myself in just an afternoon.

I just bought a CA530 from Travis and installed it yesterday (Friday). I would definitely recommend going with a prewired unit from Travis/KC Autosound. His directions tell you everything from exactly where and what color each wire is (and how to double check them) to where to mount the brain unit. I had to call him a couple times with questions. He answered both times and was able to answer my question within about 15 seconds. He actually called me back a couple hours later just to make sure everything else went ok. If you need the mile range go with the SRT system. I am definitely happy with mine.

After reading a whole lot of great reviews of Travis' prewire jobs on f150online.com, I decided to bite the bullet and buy one instead of paying someone else to put my alarm/remote start in for me. I went with the Python 991, and couldn't be happier. The prewire job that Travis did makes the whole installation process as easy as changing a head unit. If you can use basic hand tools and either a test light or multimeter, you can install your own remote starter. The instructions were superb, and the one time I had to call Travis was able to tell me exactly what to do while he was walking through a store with his wife. I'm pretty sure he can do this stuff in his sleep, and it definitely shows in the quality of his work.
