General Description of Features:

Display:
The AVIC-X930BT is a very easy screen to read because of the large 6.1” TFT LCD Touchscreen Color Wide-Screen Display. This easy to use touch screen display also allows you to control several connected components, such as iPod/iPhone, built-in Navigation, USB device and Bluetooth enabled devices.
Stock look - Double din sized:
This receiver will look completely stock. It is a double-din sized receiver which looks similar to the receivers in luxury cars such as Lexus or BMW.  Only the X930BT has much better features including DVD, touch screen, built-in navigation, Bluetooth and more.

Plays a huge variety of CD/DVD formats:
This will play MP3, WMA, WAV, AVI and MPEG-4 audio and video from most of the popular disc formats including DVD/VCD/ CD/CDR/ CDRW.
RDS Radio Tuning:
This will display the name of the radio station (for example Z100) and will also display the artist name and song title!  RDS also gives you much better radio reception.  This is similar to HD radio but you do not have to spend extra money. Luxury vehicles such as Lexus will sometimes offer this in their premium sound systems.  This premium receiver has this feature!

AM/FM Radio:
The X930BT will give you great radio reception with the built in Supertuner IIIDAM/FM radio tuner. This high performance tuner gives you much better radio reception, and sound quality while the manual/automatic search features of the receiver allow you to search your favorite station with complete ease. This unit features Auto store memory along with 24 preset stations (18FM and 6AM).
Built-In Bluetooth from Parrot (No accessories required):
The AVIC-X930BT navigation receiver is equipped with built-in Bluetooth ver. 2.0 (powered by Parrot). It provides hands-free communication that allows you to make and receive calls wirelessly through the receiver. It also uses echo cancelling and noise reduction function while using multimedia-navigation’s Bluetooth hands-free communication feature.

Dual Zone A/V Output:
This receiver is dual zone compatible. This means you can have 1 source playing in the front, while having a second source playing in the rear.  For example you can watch a DVD in the rear while listening to the radio in the front.

Navigation:

Flash memory navigation and Destination Search:
The receiver offers an extensive map database from Tele Atlas that covers the entire United States (including Alaska and Hawaii). It also enables you to route millions of destinations, which includes more than 12 million points of interests (POIs). The device also accurately measures your current location by Global Positioning System (GPS). The built-in GPS navigation allows you to search destination by address, recent history, 12million points of interests, favorites and coordinates.

2D/3D Map:
You get to see the detailed city map on the screen in 2D or 3D. There are two ways viewing the map, either you can choose to see the direction in which you are heading or let the monitor show north on the top of the screen. You can also select between different brightness modes such as day, night or auto. The receiver also provides voice guidance and turn-by-turn directions.

Audio Functions:

High Power and Great Sound Quality:
The receiver is rated at 50 x 4 watts peak and 22 x 4 watts RMS, which is extremely loud.  The ratings are CEA-2006 compliant.  This means the ratings are actually tested by the industry standard.  This receiver uses a MOSFET50 power supply which is known to power the speakers more efficiently. The lower end receivers use amps that are not MOSFET powered and they do not put nearly as much power to your speakers as one with a MOSFET50 power supply used by most of the premier brand name receivers, such as this one.  This receiver will make your speakers super loud without having to purchase any additional external amps!

8-Band Graphic Equalizer:
The 8 band equalizer will allow you to really fine tune the output of your audio.  You can either select from the preset tone curves for different music types, or you can use the custom EQ curve which you can customize yourself. Since this has an 8 band equalizer it will sound a lot better than other receivers that have only a 3 band equalizer built in.

Ability to connect multiple external amps:
This receiver makes your car audio system expandable.  The pre-amp outputs allow you to hook up external amps for your speakers without needing to purchase additional accessories. Since this has 3 sets of pre-amps you can hook up multiple amplifiers. This has front, rear and sub pre-amp outputs so you can amplify all your interior speakers, and add a subwoofer amplifier. This receiver utilizes 2.2V - preamp outputs. 

Built in High and Low pass Crossover filters:
The high pass filter will allow you to filter out unwanted noises from your full range speakers while the low pass crossover filter will allow you to filter out unwanted noises from your bass or mid-bass speakers. A crossover also allows your speakers to go louder without distorting them because you are filtering out the frequencies that cause the speaker to distort easily. The crossover also will make your speakers last longer because they eliminate distortion frequencies and distortion is what causes speakers to blow. With the crossover your speakers will last 10 times longer. The electronic crossover has selectable frequencies for high pass and low pass operation.

Connections:

Integrates with iPods and iPhones: (Requires CD-IU51V)
The USB input on this receiver will control your iPod and iPhone using the required Pioneer CD-IU51V iPod/iPhone connector cable. Additionally, it will charge your iPod while you are listening to music. Once this cable is connected you can listen to music, podcasts, and audiobooks stored on your iPod/iPhone. You can also enjoy video playback of movies, TV shows, video podcasts, and music videos stored on your iPod or iPhone. In addition, you can access downloaded Apps from your iPhone, such as Pandora, Aha Radio, and more.

SD Card input:
This is a feature used by most people who buy this. It allows you to store audio and video on a microSD memory card (The same card used for digital cameras). You will be able to navigate the files on the SD card and play them back on this receiver.

USB Input:
It allows easy access for you to hook up any portable, MP3 player, or other portable USB audio device including a USB thumb drive with audio and video stored on it, or a portable hard drive.

Dual A/V inputs:
This receiver has (2) sets of aux A/V inputs to connect secondary sources such as video game systems, or any other video devices.  There is a front-panel 3.5 MM Audio and rear-panel composite A/V input that are easily accessible.

Expandability:

XM and Sirius Ready: (Requires Satellite Radio tuner and adapter)
The receiver will display artist names, and song titles, and it will give you full satellite radio controls directly from the receiver.  The Sirius/XM Tuner and antenna is required for Satellite Radio.

HD Radio Ready: (Requires GEX-P20HD HD Radio Tuner)
There are no monthly fees, but you get free radio sub-channels which you normally would not get!  The reception is also crystal clear in high definition, and best of all the receiver will display the station name, song name, and more!

Steering Wheel Control Ready: (Requires PAC SWI-PS interface)
You can control the receiver directly from your stock steering wheel controls with the optional PAC SWI-PS
