I bought the CA-550 with Remote Start and Pre-wired for my 2005 F-150. Talked about a breeze to install! I could not have done it without the detailed instructions Travis sent to me. I was looking for a remote starter for my 05 F150 Supercrew and I landed on Travis's site for KC Autosound. After reading the testimonials, I elected to buy a code alarm 530 and bypass module and paid the $25 to have it 'bench prepped'. I got the merchandise quickly and the special instructions specifically for my vehicle along with the fact that all unneeded wires were clipped back and tied off, helped a lot. Installation was a breeze, except I had trouble getting the key bypass to work. Travis was there every step of the way, sending me new parts as we tried to troubleshoot. In the end, we determined it was a faulty component from Code Alarm. Travis knows his stuff, can walk you through anything and everything and even with the difficulties that I experienced.. I purchased the Compustar RF-2W703-SH remote start from Travis. His pre-wiring of it and the detailed instructions for my year model truck made it very easy to install. Everything works great and I can still use my original key FOB to lock or unlock if I don't want to carry the remote start FOB. Travis was also very helpful over the phone. I'll buy from him again.
