PRE-WIRED FOR THE DO-IT-YOURSELFER

You're probably asking yourself "what does pre-wired mean?". Many of you would love to have a remote starter, alarm, or audio system for your vehicle but you either don't live close enough to a shop, don't trust a shop or simply wish to do it yourself.  That's where KC Autosound comes in.  You can purchase a remote starter that will come to you ready for installation with a custom tailored guide.

Before any installation is to begin for a vehice you must prepare it for your specific vehicle.  With most systems there are quite a bit of wires that may or may not be needed.  They may even need to be connected to each other.  Some vehicles will even need to have special relays or modules.  What you get from us is a system that has the harnesses wired and bundled to follow the custom installation guide that has been created for your vehicle.  It will tell you how to dismantle the vehicle, where the wires are located, what they will read with a test light or voltmeter and even how to do the connections.  With most guides we will even include photos to help you along.  If you have any questions tech help is only a email, text or phone call away.

Hello- I own an tire/wheel/accessory shop in Howard Lake, MN. I found KC Autosound on the internet when I was looking for help with an 2005 Superduty remote start I had installed. I called and described my symptoms to Travis over the phone and he walked me through it in minutes. I ordered CA530 thru Travis with pre wire ( its sweet one and less headache for me :) ) . I ran into some troubling with some wiring issues and Travis was there for me with very helpful!
